Tiger fun facts

Tiger looks similar except from orange and white differentiation but interestingly it is not the truth. There are varied species of tigers where its Panthera tigris breed is considered to be the biggest of all. A tiger’s body could elongate to 3.3 metres or 11 feet. Some more fun facts about tiger that you would like to know are like:

• Tiger which is a dominating creature mostly loves to be in solitary for they know they can scare away their prey.

• For tiger’s survival a huge habitat area is required.
• There is wide range of tigers as its intense population is found in Asia, Turkey and Russia.

• Tiger has 8 subspecies which are found popularly in India, China and Sumatra.

• On a tiger skin you will find more than 100 stripes but its pattern varies. Except in two tigers you can find similar pattern stripes.

• You can enjoy tiger’s roar from a mile distance.

• Tiger belongs to cat family but it cannot make purr sound.

• White Tigers do not have orange colored genes so they are whitish in color.

• Tiger’s smallest species is the Sumatran one.
